Competition Date—Sunday, June 30, 2019 in the Linn Dunn Memorial Building
Entry Time—Registration begins at 11:00 PM.
Judging—Begins at 12:00 PM.
RULES
  1. There are no age or resident restrictions to enter this contest.
  2. Each participant may enter one (1) entry in each category.  
  3. CATEGORIES:

    1. Appetizer/Snack 
    2. Main Dish
    3. Dessert/Sweet Treat
  4. Each entry should be brought in the original container it was prepared in.  
  5. NO FOODS THAT REQUIRE REFRIGERATION ALLOWED. Any warm food item must be brought in warm and may not be able to be used for public tasting. This rule is for health and safety reasons. 
  6. During the public taste testing, the food will be set out for no more than two hours.
  7. Be sure to mark your containers with your name if you want it returned. It is your responsibility to pick up the container after the public taste testing and it must be picked up that night unless other arrangements were made.
  8. All entries MUST include the recipe on a 3x5 index card. Recipes may be published via website, newspaper, or cookbook.
  9. Judging will be done by panel using the following criteria

    1. Appearance
    2. Consistency
    3. Flavor 
  10. Awards – a winner will be selected in each of the three categories 

Public taste testing will be held after each food competition is completed. (beginning at 3:00pm) Winners announced after judging.
